All four qualifying plans let you add unlimited websites, but that is only the first filter. A portfolio of ten small brochure sites has very different needs from ten busy WooCommerce stores. Storage, CPU time, memory, backups and support determine whether one account can comfortably handle your real workload.
Namecheap describes Stellar Plus storage as unmetered, while GreenGeeks and SiteGround publish fixed allowances and HostPapa Premium publishes a larger NVMe allocation. “Unmetered” still comes with acceptable-use rules, and every host can restrict excessive file counts or resource use.
Long introductory terms can produce a low monthly equivalent, but you normally pay the term upfront. Put the initial invoice, renewal invoice and included extras into a simple three-year cost comparison. That makes apparent bargains easier to judge.
cPanel can reduce friction if you already manage domains, email, databases and backups through that interface. SiteGround uses its own Site Tools panel instead, which some WordPress users prefer for its integrated workflow. Neither approach is automatically better; familiarity and migration needs matter.
When several websites share one account, a failed update or accidental deletion affects more than one project. Confirm how often backups run, how long restore points remain available, and whether restoration is self-service or support-assisted.
