Our shortlist is designed around one narrow question: which established providers currently publish a hosting plan that allows an unlimited number of websites? We use official provider plan pages as the starting point and avoid treating “unlimited bandwidth” or “unlimited domains” as the same thing as unlimited websites.
Minimum inclusion criteria
- The provider must have a currently available named plan.
- The official plan page must explicitly state unlimited websites or an equivalent unlimited-site allowance.
- The plan must be accessible to ordinary website owners, not only a bespoke enterprise contract.
- Important fixed limits, such as storage, should be visible in our comparison where published.
What we compare
We look at website allowance, storage, traffic wording, email, backups, SSL, migration support, control panel, introductory billing terms and renewal considerations. We also note where “unmetered” is subject to an acceptable-use policy.
What we do not do
We do not award invented star ratings, reproduce provider marketing as independent fact, or guarantee speed and uptime outcomes we have not measured. A “best for” label is a practical editorial match based on published features, not a claim that one provider is universally best.

Plan information in the current shortlist was reviewed on 13 September 2026. Because providers can change pricing and specifications without notice, visitors should confirm the final details on the provider website before purchasing.
